It can be as much as 400% more efficient compared to traditional heating systems and can cut carbon emissions by up to 75%. We mainly provide air-to-water heat pumps. They can provide both heating and hot water through heating action, with the basis of transferring heat to radiators, underfloor heating, or water taps.

An air source heat pump works on the principle of absorbing heat from outside air by using a refrigerant. The heat is then compressed and transferred inside your home through a heat exchanger. Why does the UK government offer free air source heat pump grants?

The government aims to reduce the national costs of energy by £2244.3 million by March 2026. Moreover, they want to make less reliance on fossil fuel boilers and more on renewable energy resources as part of the ECO4 scheme.

Will repairing and servicing heat pumps cover under the ECO4 scheme?

Unfortunately, the grant does not entertain those properties with broken air source heat pumps. If the manufacturer’s warranty is still valid, you may contact the manufacturer who will repair or service your heat pumps for free.

Can I apply for air source heat pump grants through both ECO4 and BUS simultaneously?

Yes, you may apply to both schemes but every household can get only one grant in their lifetime. So, you cannot get both grants at the same time.
